I don't know if you're a fan of the HBO Series Westworld, but I am. The show made a big splash at 2017 San Diego Comic-Con, bringing 12 of the main cast members to the panel and limited poster signing at the WB booth, which I attended and currently have a cast signed poster for sale here on AutographsForSale.com.
The biggest names to NOT appear were Anthony Hopkins, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth and Talulah Riley. Unfortunately, PSA/DNA showed its incompetence and sloppiness yet again when someone submitted a Westworld poster from this signing which was listed and sold on eBay. The PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity specifically lists Thompson and Hemsworth as autographs they supposedly authenticated. The LOA correctly counted 14 signatures, but the two that the submitter and PSA/DNA somehow thought were Thompson and Hemsworth were actually of co-writers and executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the husband and wife team that is responsible for creating this groundbreaking show.
Now, does this mistake affect the value of this highly sought after poster? Probably not much. However, it does make one question just how much PSA/DNA actually scrutinizes signatures when it issues their highest level of authentication -- the LOA -- and doesn't even correctly identify 2 of the 14 signers.
