1996 Atlanta Centennial Olympic Stadium pair of seats
Centennial Olympic Stadium was built in downtown Atlanta next to Fulton County Stadium for the 1996 Olympic Games Opening and Closing Ceremony, for the track and field competition, and for the Paraolympic Games. After these events were over, in 1997 the stadium was converted to baseball only and now hosts the Atlanta Braves as Turner Field. When the stadium was converted, thousands of excess stadium seats were offered to the public and sold out within months. The vast majority of seats were in rows of 3 or 4; extremely few were sold as pairs. This is one of those rare pairs. These dark blue sturdy plastic seats have the Olympic logo molded on the backs and are in excellent overall condition with only some cosmetic marking (some of which might be able to be cleaned off). The steel supports are not stable enough for the seats to be used for sitting unless against a wall, but the original holes can be used to bolt the seats down if you are a handyman. NOTE: Due to the enormous size of this item, it can only be shipped via Ground/Standard within the 48 contiguous United States.
